罗伯托-比萨提率领托斯卡纳管弦乐团通过塞缪尔-巴伯标志性的《弦乐快板》和肖斯塔科维奇戏剧性的第 14 交响乐，对死亡和自然进行了深刻的探索。音乐会由佩萨罗 "罗西尼 "管弦乐团首席客座指挥里卡多-比萨蒂指挥，重点呈现了 11 个关于死亡的思考和一个自然主义场景。节目中的自然景象灵感来自维吉尔《格奥尔格》中的一段，塞缪尔-巴伯（Samuel Barber）在美国古典音乐最著名的作品之一《弦乐快板》（Adagio for Strings）中描述了这一景象。德米特里-肖斯塔科维奇（Dmitri Shostakovich）的《第 14 号交响曲》被描绘成苏联弦乐室内乐团和打击乐的自省安魂曲，两位声乐独奏家将死亡描绘成不可避免的、悲剧性的、残酷的和荒谬的。

Founded in 1980, ORT was established under the tutelage of the Tuscan Regional Government, the Municipal Government of Florence, and the Provincial Administrations of Florence. While under the artistic direction of Luciano Berio, ORT was given national recognition for excellence by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
Inside the historic Teatro Verdi in the heart of Florence, the Orchestra is composed of 45 musicians, divided into accomplished chamber groups: I Solisti dell’ORT, OrtEnsemble, Harmoniemusik — I Fiati dell’ORT. ORT's performances are broadcast nationally by RAI‐Radiotre Suite and in Tuscany by Rete Toscana Classica.
