The Best of Summer in Prague! 'Opera Barocca' is an outstanding Baroque night, this unique and unusual event will be presented at the Courtyard of the Palace Clam‐Gallas in Prague.
Situated at the most beautiful Prague palaces, Czech artists specialised in authentic performance of Baroque music will appear in 'Segreto'. Musicians, singers, and dancers in period costumes and masques will present music, arias, and reconstruction of ballets of famous 17th and 18th century operas. This exceptional stage performance features music by Vivaldi, Händel, Mozart, Lully, Finger, and Albinoni, performed by the Carnevale Baroque Ensemble. Dances are performed by The Nobles Danseurs Ensemble and The Hartig Ensemble.

'When the God's dance': Enjoy an evening of music and dance inspired by the festivities held at the Habsburg and French courts during the Baroque period with works from famous operas and comedies by Lully and from the imperial court music by His Majesty Leopold I, The Holy Roman Emperor, as well as Schmelzer, Cesti and Biber von Bibern.

Take in a performance in which music of great baroque masters Giovanni Battista Bononcini and his famous rival George Frideric Händel will resound. In a beautiful pastoral pasticcio 'Sotto le Stelle' the great music from Bononcini's Roman serenata 'la Nemica d'amore fatta Amante' and Händel's 'Cantata Tirsi, Clori e Fileno' will be performed.

Scenes from the Prague Carnevale. Great music, dance and arias from famous operas, ballets and comedies. Dancers in beautiful baroque costumes will perform choreographies based on historical iconography and dance notation.
