Enjoy a performance by exceptionally talented guitarist, Biréli Lagrène, who is also a renowned phenomenal master of improvisation grabbing the attention of jazz fans with his blindingly fast fingers.

Born into a French gypsy community, the artist demonstrated his unique talent by playing the acoustic guitar from a young age. He rose to prominence performing the repertoire of Django Reinhardt, yet with idols including Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Jimi Hendrix, was soon allured by the challenge of blending jazz and rock.

He has also collaborated with a wide range of leading musicians including Al Di Meola, Jaco Pastorius and Stéphane Grappelli to name but a few. Whether playing dynamic or lyrical styles, Lagrene spreads his energy to others through his music, indisputably placing him among the most distinguished musicians of his generation.
