The Prague Opera Ball is noted for its opulence

February is Ball Season in Prague and many themed balls take place throughout the city during the month. The Prague Opera Ball is the most traditional ball in Prague, with its history since the 18th century. The glamorous Prague State Opera (the former German New Theatre) counts to the most beautiful in the world. After a break since 1995 to the 50th anniversiry of the UN takes place another international Prague opera ball at the Prague State Opera.

Please wear evening dresses and — for the gentlemen black tie or tails! The opening performances starts at 10 p.m. the 'Invitation to dance' at 10.30 p.m..
