Almost 15 years have passed since Claudio Abbado's last visit to the Centre for Fine Arts. A great artist, Abbado, who succeeded Herbert von Karajan at the head of the Berliner Philharmoniker, worked wonders as musical director of the Teatro alla Scala and later at the London Symphony Orchestra.

You will meet him again in the company of the Orchestra Mozart Bologna, of which he has been Artistic Director since its foundation in 2004, and of the pianist Martha Argerich. The albums they have made are legendary, of a musical authenticity and emotional purity that reflect an artistic partnership of exceptional intensity.
