Philharmonie Berlin
A Philharmonie é uma sala de concertos inaugurada em 1963 em Berlim Ocidental. É considerada o coração musical da capital alemã, bem como o novo centro urbano após a queda do infame Muro de Berlim. O seu exterior amarelo brilhante e a sua forma invulgar de tenda tornaram‐na rapidamente um marco da cidade. O design e a arquitetura surpreendentes foram inicialmente vistos de forma negativa por muitos, mas a Philharmonie é agora considerada um modelo para salas de concertos em todo o mundo. O arquiteto Hans Scharoun tinha como objetivo conceber uma sala de concertos em que o ponto central — os músicos na plataforma de concertos — fosse igualmente visível de todos os lugares, um objetivo que deu origem à forma invulgar da sala. Desde a sua inauguração, a Filarmónica de Berlim tem sido palco de numerosos concertos, muitas vezes com a participação de solistas e maestros de renome.

| Violoncelo: | Gautier Capuçon Gautier Capuçon has dedicated himself to the cello since he was only five years old, and is particularly enthusiastic about chamber music making. He records a great deal with his brother, renowned violinist Renaud Capuçon, and collaborates with numerous other celebrated artists such as Marta Argerich, Daniel Barenboim, Leonidas Kavakos, Mikhail Pletnev, Vadim Repin, Jean‐Yves Thibaudet, Maxim Vengerov, etc. |

Born in Chambéry, France, Capuçon began his musical training at the age of 14 after enrolling at the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris before moving to Germany to complete his studies under the direction of Thomas Brandis and Isaac Stern. Touring regularly as a recitalist, Capuçon is especially well known for his brilliant interpretations and recordings of Beethoven’s violin sonatas as well as collaborations with his brother, cellist Gautier Capuçon. |
| Solista, Condutor, Piano: | Rudolf Buchbinder Pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, with five years of age the youngest student ever to be admitted to the Vienna Musik Hochschule, began his comprehensive musical career as chamber musician. In the meantime, he performed as soloist with all great orchestras and conductors all over the world and is regular guest at the Salzburger Festspiele and all other major festivals. |
