Masterworks by Franz Schubert are the focus of this programme including works for solo piano and the moving song cycle Schwanengesang. The Masterworks Series at Bargemusic presents some of the best loved compositions of the chamber music repertoire, performed by excellent artists and ensembles.

Bargemusic presents chamber music in an unlikely and startlingly beautiful venue—a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both established and emerging musicians perform at Bargemusic on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline.
