Roland Petit: Paris Opera Ballet

Sobre o Evento

The Paris Opera Ballet pays tribute to Roland Petit with three carnal, poetic and theatrical works: Le Rendez‐vous, Le Loup, and Carmen.

Since his choreographic debuts with 'Le Rendez‐vous' and 'Le Jeune homme et la Mort', Petit has sought out the most inventive artists of his  era: Jacques Prévert, Jean Cocteau, Brassaï, Georges Wakhévitch, and even Pablo Picasso. These artistic collaborations have continued throughout his career, as 'Le Loup' – which brought together the writer Jean Anouilh, the painter Jean Carzou and one of the greatest composers of today, Henri Dutilleux– would later prove.
