Praised for "an accutely focused, gleaming sound that recalls Perlman in his prime" (Miami Herald), violinist Giora Schmidt is quickly establishing himself as a virtuoso of the grand tradition with a distinctive voice.

He has appeared with numerous symphony orchestras around the globe, including Cleveland, Philadelphia, Chicago, San Diego, Vancouver, Toronto, Sendai Philarmonic and the Israel Philharmonic. Schmidt will give performances of the varied first sonatas of Beethoven, Schumann and Fauré, as well as a Ysaÿe’s celebrated adaptation of Saint‐Saëns’ Valse‐Caprice.
