A sensação de antecipação, suspensão metafísica e ascensão em direção a um outro lugar — talvez a vida após a morte — são os elementos definidores da sinfonia final de Bruckner, a Nona, dedicada "ao bom Deus". Esses aspectos moldam uma jornada musical de reflexão espiritual e contemplação da existência. Não é coincidência que Daniele Gatti a combine com duas obras corais profundamente expressivas de Brahms, ambas meditações sobre o significado da vida: *Gesang der Parzen* (*Canção dos destinos*) e *Schicksalslied* (*Canção do destino*).

Condutor: | Daniele Gatti Daniele Gatti has been the Music Director of the Orchestre National de France since September 2008, succeeding Kurt Masur. He has also been the Principal Conductor of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra since 1996, and he will remain there as a conductor laureate from September. From 1992 to 1997, he was the Principal Conductor of the Orchestra dell‘Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, the Principal Guest Conductor at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden from 1994 to 1997, and between 1997 and 2007 he was the Music Director of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Daniele Gatti is a holder of the title of Accademico, granted by the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. In 2005, the Italian Association of Music Critics awarded him their Premio Abbiati prize. |

Auditorium Parco della Musica
Auditorium Parco della Musica is a music complex consisting of an outdoor theatre in a park setting and three indoor concert halls. Situated in Rome´s ancient city centre, where the Olympic Games were held in 1960, the complex is home to the famed Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Designed by talented architects Franco Zagari, Renzo Piano, and Jürgen Reinhold, the complex has played a central role in Italian cultural life since its inauguration in 2002. The complex has an extensive program of chamber music concerts as well as pop, rock, jazz, theatrical and literary performances, cinema and art exhibitions.
