Under the baton of David Zinman, chief conductor of the Tonhalle Zurich, the strings of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will perform Barber's stunning 'Adagio for Strings'.

Salzburg's 'Jedermann' and Burgtheater‐star Nicholas Ofczarek will join the orchestra as narrator in Beethoven's incidental music to Goethe's Egmont. Swedish soprano Camilla Tilling will perform her long‐awaited debut with Richard Strauss' 'Four Last Songs'.
