This year's opera series at the Baths of Caracalla features three operas by Italy’s most famous nineteenth‐century composers: Bizet,
Puccini, and Verdi. Enjoy Puccini's Tosca in the Baths of Caracalla.
Relive the Napoleonic‐era tale of the opera singer, Floria Tosca, her lover, the painter Cavaradossi, and the Chief of Police, Baron Scarpia, who desires her. The Italian director, set and costume designer Pier Luigi Pizzi will curate this production of the Tosca in the Baths of Caracalla. The Orchestra will be conducted by Donato Renzetti.
