The Oper Leipzig presents Wagner's Parsifal in a coproduction with the Grand Théatre de Genève and the Opéra de Nice.
An opera in three acts, Parsifal is based on Wolfram von Eschenbach's epic poem of the knight Parsifal and his quest for the Holy Grail.
Approximate running time: 5 hours, with two intermissions.
Bühnenweihfestspiel ('a festival play for the consecration of the stage') in three acts. Libretto by the composer. A coproduction with the Grand Théatre de Genève and the Opéra de Nice.
