German Brass: Music Summer Grafenegg

O wydarzeniu

The Ensemble German Brass presents works by J.S. Bach and W.A. Mozart as well as lively, entertaining arrangements from all over the world at the Music Summer Grafenegg.

United under the name German Brass, outstanding brass players from top European orchestras have played themselves to the top with perfection and a love of performing. In 2012, the musicians will present a brass spectacle on the Wolkenturm. After a quintessentially classical beginning with works by Bach, Glinka and Rossini, they will continue with lively arrangements of popular melodies from all over the world in the second part. The Prelude will be in the able hands of jack‐of‐all‐trades jazz musician Daniel Schnyder and bass trombonist and Berlin Philharmonic Stefan Schulz.

Since 2007, Grafenegg has presented a top‐class programme of concerts as part of the Music Summer and Music Festival. Under the artistic direction of Rudolf Buchbinder, the world’s most renowned orchestras, conductors and soloists come to perform on the Wolkenturm open‐air stage and in the Auditorium concert hall.
