Witness the desperation and drama of Mascagni's 'Cavalleria Rusticana' and Leoncavallo's 'Pagliacci' at the Sydney Opera, directed by Damiano Michieletto, with Diego Torre in the roles of Turiddu and Canio.
In this co‐production with the Royal Opera House the danger of falling in love and lusting after someone are portrayed in two short operas which explore the full spectrum of passion, lust, suffering, and rage.
