At the 47th edition of Urbino Early Music Festival, Giovanni Togni will tackle one of the cornerstones of harpsichord literature: Bach's Goldberg Variations.

Bach dedicated these 30 variations for harpsichord to his pupil, Johann Gottlieb Goldberg. They were intended to be performed for Count Hermann Carl von Keyserling to entertain him on sleepless nights.

The Urbino Early Music Festival features great performers performing a rich repertoire, with Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music.
