Two concerts, on July 26 and July 27 are dedicated to the work made by the students of the Urbino Musica Antica masterclasses: the oratorios by Giacomo Carissimi with Alessandro Quarta as conductor and and the sonatas for melodic instrument and cembalo obbligato by Johann Sebastian Bach with Rinaldo Alessandrini as music coach of the young musicians following his masterclass.

Great performers, young musicians, intriguing music in the amazing and unique scenario of the gem of the Italian Renaissance. The 2013 edition of Urbino Early Music Festival returns with a valuable offering of programs ranging from sacred music to vocal and instrumental virtuosity.
