Musikfest Berlin: Bayerisches Staatsorchester & Kent Nagano

The Bayerisches Staatsorchester performs works of Luciano Berio, Richard Strauss, and Igor Stravinsky, under the baton of Kent Nagano at this year's "musikfest berlin".

The "musikfest berlin 10", Berlin’s major festival for orchestral music, will once again open the city’s concert season. At the heart of this year's festival programme will be the musical oeuvres of Pierre Boulez – the great French composer and conductor, whose 85th birthday is being celebrated this year throughout the musical world – and of his Italian composer‐colleague Luciano Berio.

The world‐famous conductor, Kent Nagano, leads the orchestra in an exciting musical evening at Berlin's Philharmonie.
