The German Church

The German Church (Church of Saint Gertrude) was founded in 1571 and is located in the old town of Stockholm in a neighborhood that was dominated by Germans during the Middle Ages. During the 17th century the church became an important center for church music and to this day it is used as a venue for classical concerts.
