Artisti
Solista: | Gabora Gyula Accomplished violinist and concertmaster, born in 1978, had already won prizes in the Paganini International Violin Competition and the Joachim International Chamber Music Competition by the age of 26. In the USA he has played as a soloist in the UCLA Symphony Orchestra and the Palpiti Symphony Orchestra, Dallas. Chamber music is very important in his career and he plays in the Budapest Chamber Symphony (Weiner‐Szász Chamber Symphony) established in 1992 to cultivate the best Hungarian tradition in making chamber music. Gyula Gabora has also performed with the Hungarian Chamber Orchestra, Hungarian Radio Orchestra and the German Chamber Philharmony. In the Chamber Orchestra of Europe he plays First Violin. His major recordings include Mendelssohn violin Concerto – Budapest, 1997 and Piazzola Four Seasons – Los Angeles, 2002. He has studied under Prof. Boris Kuschnir (Vienna), Prof. Eduard Schmieder (USA – SMU University, Dallas), Józsefné Szász (Budapest) and Miklós Szenthelyi of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music where Gyula Gabora graduated in 2005. |

Chiesa di S.Mattia (Matyas Templon)
La chiesa di Mattia è uno dei gioielli medievali del quartiere del Castello di Buda. E 'stato costruito nella seconda metà del 13 ° secolo in stile gotico opulento ed era un luogo per incoronazioni e matrimoni reali. Durante i 150 anni dell'occupazione turca fu trasformata nella moschea principale della città. L'interno fu completamente trasformato, gli affreschi delle pareti furono imbiancati a calce e ricoperti di tappeti. Nel XIX secolo la chiesa è stata restaurata nel suo aspetto gotico originale, ma il suo splendore è stato portato in stato di rovina durante la seconda guerra mondiale e la ristrutturazione ha richiesto circa 20 anni.
