Grieg Trio: Schubert, Martin, Beethoven

Thee Norwegian Grieg Trio has been performing internatinoally for nearly thirty years. They have a wide repertoire at the heart of which is Beethoven. This concert features the "Geister" Trio, an exciting and indeed somewhat spooky work. Schubert's tender and warm Piano Trio No. 2 is also featured on the program. Frank Martin's Trio is based on Irish folk melodies — an intriguing program at the Concertgebouw!
