Teatro della Pergola
Florence, Italie
The Teatro della Pergola opened in 1656. It is considered as the oldest theatre in Italy and it was once the private theatre of the grand dukes. The theatre does have two halls. The beautifully restored Main hall and the Saloncino. The Smaller programs take place in the 400‐seat Saloncino, a former ballroom with superior acoustics. It is, in fact, often specifically chosen by vocalists for its magnificent sound.
