Gens is joined by tenor Charles Castronovo and the Munich Radio Orchestra and Choir in the beautiful Theater an der Wien.

The opera deals with the love story of Princess Marie de Gonzague and the Marquis de Cinq‐Mars. Arranged marriages, conspiracy, arrest and rescue all feature in this grand tragedy.
