In 2014, when the idea of ​​'Bohème 2020' came up, the motto of the Dresden Music Festival was 'Golden 20s'. The twenties of the last centuries have always been a special source of artistic inspiration — Monteverdi, Bach, late Beethoven and the young but mature Schubert created groundbreaking energy in the 1820s of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries and masterpieces that have shaped their own time with new impulses.
