La Deutsche Oper de Berlín presenta "Lucia di Lammermoor" de Gaetano Donizetti en una producción de Filippo Sanjust.
"Lucia di Lammermoor" está ambientada en Escocia durante las violentas guerras de clanes. En una sociedad dominada por los hombres, hermanas e hijas son utilizadas como peones para conseguir alianzas militares. El mismo destino aguarda a Lucía, que busca refugio en medio de la locura. Ya se ha comprometido en amor y matrimonio con Edgardo, el enemigo mortal de su hermano Enrico. Enrico quiere ver a su hermana casada con el poderoso aliado de la familia, Arturo. La producción y el vestuario de Filippo Sanjust son un homenaje a la tradición de la escenografía romántica.
En italiano con sobretítulos en alemán e inglés.

Deutsche Oper Berlin
Deutsche Oper Berlin is the biggest opera house in the German capital, and a member of the Berlin Opera Foundation established in the early 1900s. The original building was destroyed during the Second World War, but was eventually replaced, and the new theater opened in 1961 - six weeks after construction began on the Berlin Wall. Serving West Berlin, its sober, linear design avoids anything that might distract vistiors from the performance. The repertoire of the theater focuses on the great classics such as Mozart, Verdi and Strauss, but frequently presents contemporary opera as well. The Chorus of the Deutsche Oper has been named 'Chorus of the Year' many times for its outstanding performances.
