Elconjunto de la Academia de Florencia interpretará las 'Cuatro estaciones' de Vivaldi en el maravilloso ambiente del Auditorium di Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio.
El programa se abre con un 'Aire' de Bach y la famosa 'Pequeña música nocturna' de Mozart.

El Auditorio de Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio está situado en el corazón de Florencia, justo al lado del famoso Ponte Vecchio. Esta iglesia, que data de 1116, se utiliza ahora como lugar de conciertos, y es considerada una de los templos más antiguos de la ciudad. Una mezcla de estilos arquitectónicos que van desde el románico hasta el gótico y el barroco se combinan para crear un escenario único para actuaciones culturales y musicales. Entre las numerosas obras de arte excepcionales se destacan el crucifijo de la época renacentista y la cripta de estilo medieval. A pesar de los grandes daños sufridos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y las inundaciones de 1996, muchas de las obras de arte fueron rescatadas y conservadas en muy buenas condiciones. Durante una reciente restauración (1993), se descubrió un fresco del siglo XV de la escuela de Botticelli. Reabierto como lugar de actividades culturales y musicales, Santo Stefano al Ponte Vecchio se ha convertido en un elemento clave de la vida artística de Florencia gracias a su interior bellamente decorado y a su perfecta acústica.

Have not been since 2018. Great soloist. Great orchestra. Acoustic come with the building. Absolutely lovely. Very much says Christmas Eve. Nice to be back in Florence.

The auditorium was lovely but I would have liked to see the original paintings behind the screen. The musicians were talented and delightful! However I had no idea who they were. Maybe an intro of even the first violinist as a start. Lovely evening!
