Artistas
| Solista: | Gabora Gyula Accomplished violinist and concertmaster, born in 1978, had already won prizes in the Paganini International Violin Competition and the Joachim International Chamber Music Competition by the age of 26. In the USA he has played as a soloist in the UCLA Symphony Orchestra and the Palpiti Symphony Orchestra, Dallas. Chamber music is very important in his career and he plays in the Budapest Chamber Symphony (Weiner‐Szász Chamber Symphony) established in 1992 to cultivate the best Hungarian tradition in making chamber music. Gyula Gabora has also performed with the Hungarian Chamber Orchestra, Hungarian Radio Orchestra and the German Chamber Philharmony. In the Chamber Orchestra of Europe he plays First Violin. His major recordings include Mendelssohn violin Concerto – Budapest, 1997 and Piazzola Four Seasons – Los Angeles, 2002. He has studied under Prof. Boris Kuschnir (Vienna), Prof. Eduard Schmieder (USA – SMU University, Dallas), Józsefné Szász (Budapest) and Miklós Szenthelyi of Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music where Gyula Gabora graduated in 2005. |

Iglesia de Matías (Matyas Templon)
La iglesia de Matthias es una de las joyas medievales del castillo de Buda. Construida en la segunda mitad del siglo XIII en estilo gótico opulento, fue sede de coronaciones y bodas reales. Durante los 150 años de la ocupación turca, se transformó en la mezquita principal de la ciudad. El interior fue completamente transformado, incluyendo el encalado de los frescos de las paredes. En el siglo XIX la iglesia fue restaurada a algo parecido a su aspecto original, pero su esplendor fue destruido por la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Las renovaciones posteriores duraron unos 20 años, y entre 2006 y 2013 se llevaron a cabo nuevas restauraciones. Además de su impresionante interior, la iglesia de Matthias también impresiona por su techo de tejas y su aguja cargada de gárgolas. Los visitantes también pueden disfrutar de conciertos de música clásica de alta calidad, interpretados por músicos locales y visitantes.
