The Dresden State Opera performs Franz Lehár’s Tsarevich, a brilliant operatic adaptation of Polish novelist Gabryela Zapolska’s eponymous historical play.

Franz Lehár’s Tsarevich was first staged in 1927 in Berlin. Critically acclaimed, the operetta went on to be performed across Europe in the most prestigious venues and opera houses. Full of unforgettable melodies and songs, the work remains a firm favorite among opera fans to this day.
