Aurélien Pascal (cello) – Alexandre Kantorow (piano)
Sobre el espectáculo
“In an exceptional show of dizzying virtuosity and stirring music, Aurélien Pascal demonstrates that the future of music is in good hands,” said a music journalist from The Huffington Post. The French cellist won the Rostropovitch Junior Competition at the age of eleven and was tipped as a promising talent at the International André Navarra Competition in Toulouse. Since then he has not rested. With his authentic cello, made by Charles‐Adolphe Gand in 1850, he has recently soloed with the Tapei Symphony Orchestra and the Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra. Today he takes the stage in the Henry Le Boeuf Great Hall with pianist Alexandre Kantorow, son of the famous violinist and conductor Jean‐Jacques Kantorow. They will play a cello sonata by Debussy and Rachmaninoff and Le Grand Tango by Astor Piazzolla.
