Solfèges, Partitas and Sonatas: Bologna Festival
About the Event
Stefano Montanari, a renowned baroque violinist and sought‐after orchestra conductor in Europe, is returning to the chamber music repertoire of the past. His program focuses on baroque two‐part sonatas, ranging from Corelli's op.5 to Vivaldi's concerto‐like compositions. Joining him is his sister Valeria, who also has a background in early music as a continuo player and fortepianist, having been a part of Ottavio Dantone's Accademia Bizantina.
