The Orchestra of I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma, founded in 1998, is the largest and oldest orchestra in Rome primarily specialising in the Italian opera tradition. Its performances have been applauded by over 800,000 opera lovers all over the world.
For the 'XXV Lyric Opera Season 2024' I Virtuosi dell'opera di Roma propose the new show 'THE THREE TENORS — Opera arias & Italian masterpieces' inspired by the famous concert of Maestro Luciano Pavarotti with the tenors Domingo and Carreras. The Orchestra and three Tenors will perform opera arias, Neapolitan melodies and the great masterpieces of Italian music, for an unforgettable evening of Belcanto in the prestigious Salone Umberto Theatre, an historical theatre in the center of Rome!

    Ausgezeichnetes Orchester. Einer der 3 Tenöre etwas indisponiert und vor allem namenlos. Sie stimmen nicht mit den auf dem Prospekt abgebildeten 3 Tenören überein. Schade, der Saal war völlig unterbesetzt, so dass einem Orchester und Tenöre, die sich nichts anmerken liessen, fast leid taten. Gute Stückauswahl. Eine oder zwei Filmmusiken wären sicher willkommen.
