Third Culture Collective teamed up with Ashnaa, a talented Tamil‐British singer, for a captivating performance at The Jago, a renowned live music venue in Dalston.
The Third Culture Collective embarks on a journey through intertwined musical cultures, spanning from nineteenth‐century Germany to modern India. Fresh from a highly praised tour in India, they will grace the stage in Dalston, presenting a captivating mix of indo‐jazz fusion, western classical, and new music.
Under the direction of Kavi Pau, the Collective's arrangements will seamlessly blend diverse genres, from the works of Bruckner and Schumann to raga‐inspired jazz. Notably, Carnatic vocalist Ashnaa will join the Collective for this performance, offering a mesmerizing repertoire that features traditional Indian classical music alongside new compositions that incorporate singing techniques and languages from around the world.
The Jago is a renowned arts and cultural centre in the renovated buildings of the Hackney Gazette printing works.
