About the Event
It is just one of the six orchestral works that the Czech composer put together under the title “My Fatherland” (Má Vlast). This half‐dozen will be presented by the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Prague at the Festspielhaus. The Prague orchestra stands for a performance tradition that stretches back to the 19th century. So you can look forward not only to the famous river portrait, but also to “Bohemia's Grove and Field”, the Prague castle site “Vyšehrad” and other symphonic legends.
