Experience the participatory opera 'Mozartini presents The Magic Flute' as a child‐friendly production by Austria's children's opera specialists Oper@Tee. In this unique performance, the young audience is actively involved in the world of Mozart's 'Magic Flute' by spontaneously taking on small roles and helping to shape the plot. Of course, those who just want to watch will have just as much fun. Recommended for ages 4 to 12.
'The Magic Flute' as a participatory opera is particularly valuable for children, as it enables active participation in the performance, which promotes understanding and enthusiasm for music and theater. Children experience the opera not just as spectators, but as part of the story, which strengthens their self‐confidence and stimulates their creativity. By playing along, they learn musical and performing skills in a playful way. The opera also teaches important values such as friendship, courage and overcoming obstacles.
The interactive experience creates a deeper emotional connection to the plot and the music, which intensifies cultural learning and makes it more sustainable.
