The King’s Singers: Bologna Festival, Legacies

About the Event

The program presented by The King’s Singers, the renowned a cappella vocal ensemble founded in Cambridge in 1968, spans five centuries of music. It is a sonic polyptych that brings together Renaissance polyphonies by Byrd and Weelkes with songs by Lennon & McCartney, madrigals by Jacques Arcadelt with traditional Georgian chants, jazz with folk, creating new harmonies in a comprehensive vision.
