About the Event

Enjoy the Christmas story read by Sophie Rois. A German‐Ukrainian Christmas concert with works by Bach, Handel and others.

The Berliner Dom (Berlin Cathedral) is located on the historic 'Museum Island' and was rebuilt in 1905. It has a richly decorated interior and the magnificent Sauer organ, which was built at the same time as the cathedral. Today, the Sauer organ is the largest organ of the 'late Romantic' period.

The Lautten Compagney Berlin is one of the most renowned German Baroque ensembles. Performing on period instruments in different chamber orchestral formations that stretch through to the Baroque opera orchestra, their repertoire encompasses a wide spectrum, ranging from 17th cent. With its concerts and operatic guest performances, the Lautten Compagney makes appearances throughout Germany and on international stages as well.
