About the Event
The Heath Quartet was established in 2002 at the Royal Northern College of Music. Since then, they have achieved various accolades such as winning the 2008 TROMP competition and the 2012 Ensemble Prize at the Festspiele Mecklenburg‐Vorpommern. In 2016, they were honored with the GRAMOPHONE Chamber Award for their outstanding recording of the Tippett quartets. The quartet also became the first ensemble in fifteen years to receive the prestigious RPS Young Artists Award in May 2013.
For their highly anticipated performance at Conway Hall, the Heath Quartet will be joined by horn player Ben Goldscheider.
