Season Highlights
Diana Damrau received her vocal training with Carmen Hanganu in Würzburg and Hanna Ludwig in Salzburg. The soprano's first performances were with the Stadttheater Würzburg and the Frankfurt Opera. Since then, she has worked with renowned conductors such as Adam Fischer and Ivor Bolton. Her repertoire ranges from the Italian‐French subject to high‐lyric parts of the German repertoire and contemporary compositions. As a Mozart and Strauss singer, she was already in roles such as Konstanze, the Queen of the Night and Zerbinetta. She is also a regular guest at the Kissinger Sommer festival and the Schubertiade.
