Sounds of Romanticism in Dresden Zwinger: Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky & Rossini
Dresden, Dresdner Zwinger — Wallpavillon
About the Event
In this highly‐anticipated concert, hear the mellifluous sounds of classical music by Tchaikovsky, Mendelssohn Bartholdy and Rossini at Dresden's treasured and world‐renowned Dresdner Zwinger.
Practical Information
The concert hall in the Wall Pavilion is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger opposite the Glockenspiel Pavilion. One path leads up from the inner courtyard of the Zwinger via curved steps. The second path leads from Theaterplatz over a small rampart — located to the right of the Alte Meister restaurant / Theaterplatz 1a and opposite the left side of the Semperoper Dresden — to the upper level. This access is barrier‐free, but only as far as the auditorium. There are three sandstone steps to climb. On concert days, signs will guide you to us. Due to the historical construction, the toilets and the hall are unfortunately not barrier‐free but only accessible via steps.
