Simone Young, Saar Berger & Konzerthausorchester Berlin
About the Event
This performance at the Konzerthaus Berlin includes a diverse selection of pieces. The evening begins with the Konzerthausorchester, under the direction of Simone Young, performing Alexander Zemlinsky's Sinfonietta, Op. 23, a symphonic fantasy based on Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Mermaid."
The program continues with a contemporary composition, Vito Zuraj's "Hawk‐Eye" concerto, which was written in 2014. This piece features Saar Berger on the French horn. Finally, Schumann's grand Symphony No. 4 will complete the night.
