About the Event
Empress for a day: Experience imperial Vienna through the eyes of the legendary Empress Elisabeth. Visit magnificent buildings and museums, indulge in culinary delights, and visit a concert at the Schönbrunn Palace Orangery.
Stroll through the former property of the Habsburg dynasty: Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) and Francis Joseph, the Imperial Furniture Collection, where splendid furniture of Sisi's era is on display, as well as the Imperial Palace (Hofburg) which houses the Imperial Apartments, the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Silver Collection. After having explored the royal residences, a three‐course dinner will be served at a restaurant in the palace area.
As a grand finale, you will attend a concert at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery: The very best seats have been reserved for you to enjoy the concert by the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna.
Schönbrunn Palace
Schönbrunn Palace is the former summer residence of the Habsburg family. Your audio guide visit will take you to the official and private chambers of the palace, where you will discover, among others, the Empress's grooming room and the Spartan bedroom of Francis Joseph.
Groups of 15 and up will enjoy an exclusive guided tour given by one of the palace's guides, after the palace has closed for the public and quietened down. Please send your request for a guided tour at least 5 workdays before the event date to info@classictic.com.
Imperial Palace: Imperial apartments, Sisi Museum and Imperial Silver Collection
The Vienna Imperial Palace (Hofburg) was the residence of the Habsburg dynasty for over 600 years. Visit the ceremonial rooms and residential apartments used by Emperor Francis Joseph and his beloved wife Sisi to gain insight into what life was like at the Vienna Court. Follow the traces of mysterious Empress at the Sisi Museum. Explore her rebellious side, her beauty‐conscious side, and her poetic side. The package also includes admission to the Imperial Silver Collection.
Imperial Furniture Collection
The Imperial Furniture Collection in Vienna is the world's largest furniture collection. It provides detailed insight into the Habsburg dynasty's royal lifestyle. The collection includes 160,000 objects, ranging from a baby's cradle to an Emperor's throne.

Concert
Your day is rounded off by a wonderful concert at Schönbrunn Palace Orangery or one of the other magnificent halls of the Palace. The renowned Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna will present the most famous works written by W.A. Mozart and Johann Strauss, the "King of Waltz". This enchanting music will be accompanied by the performance of vocalists and ballet dancers that will delight your eyes and ears alike.
Program
- Any time during opening hours: Visit Schönbrunn Palace, Imperial Apartments, and Imperial Silver Collection, Imperial Furniture Collection (tickets are valid for one year.)
- 6:30 p.m.: Dinner at the Café Restaurant Residenz in the Palace Area
- 8:00 p.m.: Admission into Schönbrunn Palace Orangery
- 8:30 p.m.: Concert starts
- approx. 10:15 p.m.: Concert ends
After the concert, taxis will be available right outside Schönbrunn Palace Orangery. The subway runs until midnight in five to eight‐minute intervals.
Individual guests are requested to pick up their vouchers at our office located at the Orangery. Open daily from 9:00 a.m..
Groups will receive their vouchers right before the start of the guided tour at the main entrance/ ticket counter of Schönbrunn Palace.
Imperial Apartments, Sisi Museum and Royal Silver Collection opening hours: Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., July and August open until 5:30 p.m.
We recommend that you start your visit at 3:00 p.m. at the latest.
Imperial Furniture Collection opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Schönbrunn Palace opening hours:
April to June and September to October: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
July and August: 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
November to March: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
