Roman Patočka & Itamar Golan at Church of St. Simon and St. Jude
Prague, Church of St. Simon and Jude (Kostel sv. Šimona a Judy) — Main concert hall
About the Event
Roman Patočka is not only the principal player of the orchestra, but also an excellent soloist and chamber musician. Let us recall, for example, 'our' concerts — the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in the Smetana Hall or the Eben Trio at Simon and Jude's. This time Roman will combine his skills with the Israeli pianist Itamar Golan, who will not be playing in our church for the first time — in 1998 he accompanied Shlomo Mintz here. This is because Itamar's passion for chamber music has not left him since the beginning of his stellar career. All the composers on this programme, masters of symphonic and intimate chamber music, have had that passion.
Program
