About the Event

A musical journey from Gershwin to Bernstein led by conductor and trumpeter Marco Pierobon with the Orchestra della Toscana at a carnival concert celebrating the vibrant sounds of Broadway and musicals. Born in Bolzano, Marco Pierobon traveled the world after graduating from the conservatory, securing positions with various orchestras before focusing on teaching and chamber music. His versatile musical taste, ranging from jazz to serious classical concerts, is reflected in his arrangements and performances with different ensembles like GomalanBrass and solo piano duos. Marco Pierobon's debut with the ORT showcases his unique vision as a classical performer, guiding the audience through the musical evolution of New York City from Gershwin to Bernstein, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and John Kander.
