About the Event

Come and discover the new Opera a Palazzo Palazzo Paris show created at the Museum: Rigoletto, an intense drama of passion, betrayal, filial love and revenge.

Rigoletto Up Close with the Artists
Experience the story of Rigoletto immersed in the Museum's salons and enjoy a glass of Champagne during the intermission. This adaptation, created by Musica a Palazzo in Venice, focuses on the main roles: Rigoletto (baritone), Gilda (soprano), Duca di Mantova (tenor), Sparafucile (bass), and Maddalena (mezzo‐soprano). The musical part is provided by a trio of musicians: piano, violin, and cello. The staging, conceived by Patrizia di Paolo, offers an intimate and immersive approach, with costumes crafted by the Nicolao Atelier in Venice. Enjoy this exclusive moment with a private tour of the museum’s prestigious permanent collection in the ground floor salons. The close proximity to the artists, which eliminates all distances, evokes unprecedentedly intense emotions.

Talented Artists
To convey the emotions of Rigoletto, Gilda, the Duke of Mantua, Maddalena, and Sparafucile, the Italian director relies on the finesse of talented French artists. These promising voices, already present on national and international stages, are the rising stars of opera. They are accompanied by musicians from the most prestigious national and international orchestras.

The Jacquemart‐André Museum “Opera has found an intimate and majestic setting here, welcoming you as in the salons of the 19th century.” Just steps from the Champs-Élysées, the Jacquemart‐André mansion showcases the finest private collection of artworks in Paris, combined with the atmosphere of a grand 19th‐century home. The mansion's salons host art objects and master paintings: Uccello, Mantegna, Botticelli, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Fragonard, Reynolds. The home of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart opens its doors for unforgettable evenings, allowing you to experience the powerful emotions of opera in an intimate setting.
