About the Event
Musician, presenter and documentary maker Orville Breeveld has put together a series in which he turns the spotlights on composers with origins in Africa. Tonight he’ll introduce Joseph Bologne. ‘Imagine: you walk into the Recital Hall’, says Breeveld, ‘and it’s bursting with energy. You see lots of different people, a cross‐section of the city of Amsterdam. I take listeners on a journey, and as evocatively as possible, I tell about the composers of color who stole my heart.’
