New Year's Eve concerts in Rome
About the Event
Ring in the New Year in Rome with the “Concerti di San Silvestro a Roma,” a sublime event featuring global talents in the realms of Opera Arias at San Silvestro al Quirinale, Rome. Begin your evening with a guided tour, followed by a concert and celebratory toast.
The evening kicks off with an enlightening tour of the Church, steeped in a resplendent ambiance that once captivated Michelangelo and his esteemed companions, including Vittoria Colonna.
The musical program continues with classical compositions rendered by two vocalists, supported by a string quintet and a pianist. Remarkably, nine of the ten performers are alumni of acclaimed international music schools. Among them is Dmitri Ribero‐Ferreira, a noted crossover genre vocalist, set to deliver magnificent traditional pieces.
Featured on strings is Valeriy Vorona, a distinguished musician and Rector of the Moscow State Institute of Music Ippolitov‐Antonov, celebrated for mentoring some of the finest in the classical music arena. Joining him are Svetlana Bezotosnaya and Iana Mishina on violins, Maria Lukyashina on viola, and Anna Bobrova on cello—all highly trained at elite Moscow music institutions.
The event concludes with a hopeful toast on the terrace, offering mesmerizing views of the Quirinale Palace.
