A unique Italian‐style concert, capturing the atmosphere of true Italian music among the most popular songs of the king of classic American pop — Frank Sinatra. The American singer and actor was originally from Sicily, and his songs echo Italian melodies, often taken from classical music, hence the most beautiful opera arias on the program. The eminent bel canto opera composer Vincenzo Bellini also came from Sicily, so the repertoire will feature his most famous arias. There will also be film music, alluding to the artist's not entirely proven contacts with the Sicilian mafia. On stage, opera singers from the Rome Chamber Opera (Opera da Camera di Roma), accompanied by a string quartet, will take the audience to the world of refined concerts from the nineteenth century, where classical music was for the audiences of the time like pop music for today. Among the elegant and sublime interiors of the most beautiful Polish concert halls of palaces and castles, innovative and unique arrangements of Frank Sinatra's works in opera and jazz style will resound. The venues with historical soul are reminiscent of the elegant salons of the aristocracy, but also of the opera houses in Rome, where the initiative to organize this concert originated. The intimate spaces and unique acoustic sounds are accessible to a small audience, due to the venues incredible acoustics, but also the small number of seats. Frank Sinatra's musical biography premiered on the stage of the Słowacki Theatre in 2013 and has been staged throughout Europe for many years, and is now, in a new form, part of a European tour in 2025, in cities such as Berlin, Rome, Paris, Milan, Prague and Vienna. For the first time in Poland, however, it will be staged in a truly Italian and unique way, in halls where time has stopped and the music has not stopped resounding.
