Mozart: Requiem at Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden
Baden‐Baden, Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden
About the Event
The Mozart operas he has performed at the Festspielhaus have all been released on CD by Deutsche Grammophon. Now Yannick Nézet‐Séguin will conduct the master's Requiem and his most famous symphony. Mozart's mysteriously masked commissioner of the Requiem has contributed greatly to the creation of legends. The fact that the composer composed a requiem mass on his own deathbed — this fateful overlap also became the aim and climax of the famous “Amadeus” film by Hollywood director Milos Forman.
