Mischpoke is a Hamburg‐based klezmer band that has now gained a Europe‐wide audience. And anyone who experiences the exciting performance of these five artistic personalities can clearly sense that this band has found its own sound: “Klezmer High Life”.

This sound continues in the new and sixth album that the band is currently working on. Klezmer meets tango, world music meets jazz, original compositions meet tradition, new lyrics meet the here and now. In every case, however, the audience encounters this intoxicating live energy that gets hearts and hips swinging.

Mischpoke's concerts are like a great musical invitation to shape our lives together in a joyful and respectful way. However, it is not pure melodiousness that is celebrated, but the fullness of existence from beauty to failure.
