About the Event
As one of the most innovative and technically accomplished jazz pianists of his generation, Michael Wollny is often mentioned in the same breath as jazz legends such as Keith Jarrett, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock. The professor at the Leipzig University of Music fuses jazz with elements of pop and classical music. He likes to perform in changing formations, even reached the pop charts with his trio album “Weltentraum” and will be presenting his new album at the Festspielhaus Baden‐Baden.
